We Watch Over Your Home When You Can't
Kathy's Home Watch has a "20 Point Checklist" for home visits.
I am not a home inspector. I can not perform professional maintenance or repair. I do watch over your home. I check all of the appliances and power sources. I can do home maintenance that requires being in your home, but I would have to hire a professional at my clients request. If any of my clients do not have anyone to call, Kathy's Home Watch has a list of home maintenance professionals that would be available.
- I start up clients vehicles for them if their cars are left beihnd.
- I check the humidistat to make sure it is set at 50 or 55.
- I do a visual check of locks, doors and windows.
- I check for any signs of mold on interior and exterior.
- I check for signs of pests or rodents inside and outside.
- I check your security systems.
- I check your air conditioning.
- I run faucets.
- I clean and flush your toilets
- I check all appliances
- I check for water leaks.
- I do a visual inspection of your pool and lanai.
- I check your garage.
- I remove solicitations and newspapers from the outside of your property.
- I check your pool, lanai and lawn to be sure they are getting the care they need while you are away.
- I schedule appointments with professionals that my homeowners approve, meet them and make sure property is again secure.
- I have written contracts to protect myself and my clients.
- I always keep home owners informed of any issues right away.
- I do a room to room check of all my client's home.
- I run baking soda down my clients garbage disposals to prevent odors.
Monthly maintenance charges and any additional fees are in easy to read contracts and verbal communication.
